Minyma Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the Minyma applications, website, and related services provided by Minymata, Inc.
Who we are
Minyma is operated by Minymata, Inc., located at 3601 Hwy 7 E, Suite 1005, Markham, ON L3R 0M3. Questions about these Terms can be sent to admin@minymata.com.
Using Minyma
You may use Minyma only in compliance with applicable law and in a way that does not interfere with other users, Minymata, Inc., or the Service itself.
- You are responsible for the devices linked to your Minyma account
- You must protect access to your devices and app-lock credentials
- You may not use Minyma for abuse, harassment, spam, or unauthorized access
Eligibility and account responsibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Minyma. If the laws of your country require a higher minimum age to use a service like Minyma without parental consent, you must meet that age. Minyma is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly allow accounts for anyone under these ages.
You are responsible for activity that occurs through devices you choose to link to your Minyma account. If a device is lost, compromised, or no longer under your control, you should remove it, reset local access, or delete the account as appropriate.
Minymata does not store your encryption keys, and there is no password to reset. You are responsible for keeping a way to regain access to your account — for example, another signed-in device, or a backup and recovery key that you keep safe. If you lose your means of access, lose a recovery key, or delete your account, Minymata cannot recover your account, your keys, or your message content for you, and you may need to create a new account. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Minymata is not responsible for loss of access or content resulting from lost devices, lost credentials or recovery keys, account deletion, or local-reset or duress actions.
Service position
Minyma is designed to provide end-to-end encryption for message and attachment content while continuing to reduce relay-visible metadata as the service hardens. Some operational metadata remains part of how delivery works today.
Voice, translation, and third-party processing
Minyma Voice, translation, and related assistant features are optional product features. When you choose to use them, live audio, generated responses, draft text, explicitly approved message content, and limited app context may be processed through Minymata's relay and third-party API providers, including OpenAI.
You are responsible for what you ask Minyma Voice to process. Minyma is designed to require clear user intent or confirmation before sensitive actions such as sending, calling, attaching, translating private message content, or reading private message content aloud. You should review staged actions before confirming them.
Encrypted voice notes
Voice notes are intended to be recorded locally, previewed before sending, and sent through Minyma's encrypted attachment path. Voice notes are designed for short-lived playback after first listen, but Minymata cannot control copies that other users record, capture, export, or otherwise retain outside the Service.
Acceptable use
You may not use Minyma to violate law, infringe the rights of others, disrupt service availability, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malware, or interfere with the privacy and safety of other users.
Account deletion and local reset
Uploaded ciphertext attachments are deleted from Minyma's servers under normal retention and account-deletion flows. Delete Account is intended to remove relay-held account data such as linked devices, queued delivery data, profile information, push tokens, and uploaded ciphertext attachments. It does not erase content already downloaded to other users' devices. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.
Intellectual property
Minyma, the Minyma name, branding, website content, and related service materials are the property of Minymata, Inc. or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Availability
Minymata may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
Changes to these Terms
Minymata may update these Terms from time to time. When material changes are made, the updated Terms will be posted with a revised effective date.
